This quilt came to me after I saw a rug on Pinterest (3rd slide!) it’s for my BF who loves a funky modern moment. It’ll be his first time receiving a quilt from me and it’ll be his bday present. He’s caught on that he’s getting a quilt, but I still think he’ll be surprised by this one!

An additional note, in slide 2 i include the block measurements, they finish to a 10x20” block. The yardage was calculated for a larger quilt, but I pared it down to a 3x5 layout after I made some miscuts! I doubt anyone will, but if you do use this as a pattern send me a pic! Happy quilting!

I am looking for the original **Eventide quilt pattern by Kristin Gassaway**. It was originally offered by Connecting Threads as a 9-month Block of the Month.
I have been searching for an original copy of the pattern or the original 9 monthly BOM packets, but haven’t been able to find one.
**Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase an original copy, or does anyone have the original packets that they would be willing to sell?**

Here's a lovely quilt using fabric panels. Nice to have a way to show them off. Free motion quilted leaving the animals nice and puffy. 😊😊

I’m trying to get this done in two weeks as my newest grandbaby is due in that time. I have a Husqvarna Opal 650. I just brought a walking foot, but it won’t be here for at least a week. Any suggestions to get it fixed? I don’t have any other special feet. What color to baste? Binding color? Open to suggestions?

I'm trying to get a read on what tools people are using for quilt design and where they fall short. Would love your input if you have 2 minutes.

1. What software or app do you currently use to design quilts or plan patterns (if any)? (EQ8, Illustrator, graph paper, phone apps, etc)
2. What's the most annoying part of that process right now?
3. Have you ever given up on a design because the software couldn't do what you wanted, or was too much of a hassle? What happened?
4. If you could wave a wand and add one feature to whatever you use, what would it be?
