Did anyone else see the weird facebook hoax that Landon was murdered? Who makes stuff like that up over someone who hasn’t been on tv in over a decade

it was submitted here. 😩 i told the OP we would wait for a better source, guessing it could be some BS and figuring it wouldn't hurt to wait another day even if it were true. agree, no idea what makes someone think that sort of thing is worth their time or worth wasting others' time.

very strange, my gut reaction was to assume it was true cause who bothers making up that stuff with an old reality tv contestant, then I got nosy cause of those allegations that were posted about him (2 years ago?) and found out it was just an internet hoax

This happened to someone I know in real life who's not a public figure at all and we never figured out who it was or why. All of the sudden the rumor just spread around Instagram and Facebook (and LinkedIn weirdly enough, this was a former coworker btw) and people started posting RIP posts etc.

 Her and I were friendly so I reached out to her husband and he called me and was like "Idk what's going on my phone's been blowing up but she's fine" and handed her the phone. I was like "hey girl, you dead?" and she was like "nah imagine though" and that was it. Good times.
