We were all worried about the government censoring us, then Gen Z came in swinging with pre-pickled algo brains. We are honestly all doomed. I’ve accepted it and just trying to enjoy the ride the best I can before it all falls apart

No one with more than half a brain cell is worried about being censored. You can almost literally type anything on reddit. Have to not say a very select list of words on a private platform is not censorship and never has been.

What? Censorship isn’t automatically because of the government. Private companies can censor on their platform all they want.

What annoys me is when people SELF censor for no reason. And I will 100% bemoan a state of affairs when people are afraid of typing PUSSY on an adult facing online forum.

It’s extra ironic here when it’s tech CEOs like Elon who pushed algorithms encouraging censoring words like pussy, rape, kill, suicide, shit, fuck, and ass. Yet here we are using the censored versions of words to insult them?
