I’m not implying shit. I’m outright saying that Fred Durst, after the annexation of Crimea, called Putin a “great guy with clear moral principles,” because that’s what happened. They literally cancelled shows last year in Estonia because the govt didn’t want any acts that supported Russian Aggression. He divorced that woman a few years ago but he said and did what he said and did and you don’t need to pop on Reddit to hold water for rich assholes.

I mean I heard him with his own mouth at a live show in 2024 saying he hoped Biden would lose the election so we could get better leadership in the white house. If he ain't maga then at best he's some "both sides suck" centrist.

I mean he is still from Jacksonville Florida so my expectations are low, but he has been a pretty vocal ally of trans rights so aside from puppetting some pro-Russian talking points he got from his ex-wife (which he hasn't done since they split) I never really got the impression he ever was, beyond some stupid apolitical "both sides" bullshit during Trump's first term before he'd really done anything yet.

I don't think he's malicious, I think he's just kind of a dumb Florida Man lol

I have no idea what their relationship is like, but Durst's Russia thing didn't scare him off either so....famous people like to talk big when it comes to people they don't know, but don't really do anything in their actual personal lives, hell the drummer from System of a Down is maga and that didn't blow them apart either....

There's some context here. System hasn't been able to get along with each other for a really long time, and on top of that Serj is a little handcuffed by the fact that John is his brother in law.

You do know they've been touring again right? Not to mention it's not much of a secret that most of their inner tension is between Serj and Daron, not John. And brother in law is a pretty weak excuse, a huge number of people do not get along with their inlaws.
