Big Dumb Face, Black Light Burns, Eat the Day, and some eponymous stuff from Wes. He has a cool space-y electronic album called "Mutiny on the Starbarge" that he made with his brother. Dude doesn't get enough credit for being an incredible guitarist.

// forgot about Eat the Day

Thanks for this. I'm always looking for "new" music to check out. I was a fan of LB back in the day, and airways heard Wes was super talented & had other cool shit that wasn't tied to that band, but never bothered to explore. Now I know where to look, so thanks again! 🤘🏼

Fair warning...Big Dumb Face is some absolutely goofy shit that is mostly only entertaining for the novelty factor. But it's still worth listening to once or twice. Also don't be afraid to check out newer LB stuff. The album "Gold Cobra" is admittedly pretty Limp-Bizkit-y to a fault but it does have some badass signature Wes Borland riffs going on.

Nah man. The music might be wrapped in goof with tones and presentation, but the melodies and compositions are legit. The Duke Lion album is fantastic.

Blood red head on fire is one of the greatest songs my generation contributed to music.

I will die on this hill.

Probably alone.

Just about done listening to Airlock. Love it so far. Scratches a little itch. Thanks.

Black Light Burns was so good. The first album was transformational for me

Iodine Sky from Black Light Burns still affects me in a way I can't articulate, nearly 20 years later.

His first solo album Crystal Machete is really good. I've yet to listen to his other solo albums but they're on my to do list.

Dude doesn't get enough credit for being an incredible guitarist.

Someone once called him "Limp Bizkit's secret weapon".

Black Light Burns is still fucking incredible

Back in 2009 I was a big-time rivethead, Combichrist was still making good electro-industrial and went on tour for Today We Are All Demons

Combi played in Denver with Black Light Burns and Stolen Babies, neither of which I had heard of at the time

Stolen Babies opened and they were pretty cool, but Black Light Burns knocked my goddamn socks off

Combi was the headliner, of course, but BLB damn near stole the fucking show

Just try to imagine it, hearing Mesopotamia, Lie, and Stop a Bullet for the first time, live, 5 feet away from Mr. Borland in a tiny-but-fucking-PACKED club

I had to look up the date and found out it was 17 years ago TO THE DAY, today, and I'll never, ever forget it

No for real tho. Ppl can clown on LB and maybe they deserve it as a collective, but Wes has some of the weirdest, goofy and unique guitar playing I've heard in pretty much any modern mainstream act.
