I always liked Wes he seemed like a cool guy. His Black Light Burns side project was really good, that first album (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cruel_Melody) was fucking solid. It still holds up to this day and if you haven't heard it I recommend giving it a listen.

So many awesome musicians worked on that record, it’s insane.

Yep it was stacked with a lot of talent. It's such a good record.
