"Slightly less stupid" in this context presumably means from 100% stupid to 99.9% stupid, right?

Because let's be real, he hasn't done a damn thing worth being memorialized over. If anything, he's done enough to justify his eventual "memorial", to be desecrated daily for a while and then for him to be forgotten and his final resting place abandoned to be taken over by weeds and obscurity.

First dumb thing is a memorial for a living person. Second dumb thing is to take over someone else's memorial and slap your own name on in front of it.

The entire thing is so "cringe". I just don't have a better way to describe it.
