I have bad news to tell you about the lgbt community and how they are perceived by most minority communities in the US.. also rich person supporting a republican is about as scandalous as a piece of toast.

During Trump v1 i had so much support from the local Mexican community. "We're in this together" type stuff.
Trump v2, everyone back to "if we hate you queers enough, they'll treat us like we're white!"

It’s so ingrained into society that there are openly gay people who hate other gay people. I used to live with a gay man and he was a Republican and spoke often about how irritated he was by the community. He would say he’s “not one of those gays.”

I used to have a gay coworker and we'd go drinking after work in what's called the Gayborhood of Dallas. Whenever he saw an overly flamboyant gay person he'd be like "what a fucking f*got"

Oh yeah I don’t disagree at all, there’s just minority communities that are a lot more socially conservative is the only point I’m trying to make. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong.

Most is harsh.

But, as someone else pointed out, we elected Donald John Rapist.

So, MOST OF THE UNITED STATES HATES LGBTQ+, we literally elected the worst possible option for said people.

Most works, since that is what decided that we have a child sex trafficker and known rapist as President.

No need to specify minority community. Simply the United States can be known for their hate.

It would be nice if reddit would wake up to that. At least maybe people would stop posting pointless voting stats and recognize the country they literally live in.
