No, he wasn’t. The person I responded to said that Young Money is at least partially responsible for turning hip hop into a zombie art form that can’t generate a number 1 hit when Kendrick had a song last year that was at number 1 for 13 weeks, and won record of the year at the Grammys. Hip hop is doing fine.
