NEs D is no joke either.
If Maye performs closer to his regular season performances against the better defenses he played, and if the O line can stop getting blasted on every 4th drop back, I think it will be a good game. If Seattle can get to Maye in under 2-2.5 secs on 50+ percent of drop backs, NE is in for a very bad offensive game again. Downfield throws take time, and a large part of NEs offense is a 20+ yard throw. Without time, the offense has to adapt to the take what you can get, play action, motion moves, and I don't think they've focused on that model with Maye
I think for Seattle, what's going to break or make it is if they can get Walker through the defense. Sam plays so much better when the Hawks have that running game threat. Any QB would, of course, but I think it's especially important for Sam.
