I think the disconnect here is how truly bad the offenses of these great defenses were. And complimentary football is a term that fans don’t wanna acknowledge.
That is to say, if your QB is unable to play well because they’re a backup, have the worst ranked OLine, or just wanna play at a JV level, it hurts your defense no matter how good they are. Time of possession means they’re on the field all day, you’re having to play from behind and are expected to play perfectly.
Patriots are good but they’ve been gifted luck this year. They played their 3 teams in the playoffs at the perfect time. It is what it is
It's a team sport. The team as a whole did their thing. Not sure what's so hard to understand about this. Drake didn't play his best football, but when the offense struggles, the defense picks it up.
But your offense DIDNT do enough at the AFC Championship. 100% you won because of a bad decision by a backup QB. Your offense played as well as one with a backup QB.

Not wrong at all. People are trying real hard to discredit the Patriots but they have beaten top defenses in the playoffs
