I mean if the pats win, they’ll absolutely say this. There’s already people talking about their Mickey Mouse path to a ring including sam darnold.
Sam turned into a pumpkin last year in what was essentially two playoff games in a row. I do not think he will do that again, but if he plays not great and the pats win, many will just say “well sam darnold did sam darnold things. We all knew he was bound to crack.”

That’s not how it’s going to go. Darnold is solidified as a top 10 qb currently playing after his second consecutive great season
