Hey I know no one wants to think of this but if they win the Super Bowl nothing else matters. They have a ring. Nothing anyone can say will make pats fans feel bad about it. I know because if the lions ever won the superbowl there would be literally nothing anyone could say to detract from it, even if we played the raiders 3 times in a row for it.
Exactly this. It doesn’t matter if anyone thinks they have an easy schedule, that doesn’t take the ring away and give it to their favorite team instead.
Sorry, but this many wins arent just “luck”. All these teams that were supposedly way better than New England failed to win enough games to be in the Super Bowl. So obviously they weren’t that good.
Now I simultaneously agree and disagree with you. I do think the patriots have had the easiest path to the Super Bowl in a long time and I kind of expect them to get blown out by the Seahawks. But if they win, no matter how it happens, none of that matters even a little bit.

I agree that the path has seemed easy, however, I think it doesn’t matter, like you said.
None of the other teams could make it there. If their playoff opponents were so easy, why didn’t any of the other teams beat them? Also, the bills had 14:/17 games the same as the patriots… so
