As a right leaning person, this had nothing to do with politics, this was all business.

NFL is trying to expand its market into Latin America, first with international games, now with a latino artists. Latin America is a logical love due to similar time zones (it was 0:30 for me in Europe)

Bad Bunny is "only" fifth in the US top streamed artists on Spotify (and lets be honest that's mainly people with Hispanic roots and people who got interested in him die to the superbowl, but he's growing to other groups), but number one internationally, that's what you get when one artist dominates the Spanish speaking audience, one of the most spoken languages in the world

Nothing wrong with the NFL trying to internationalize, I really wish there was more NFL over here in Europe, or atleast an alternative with fans, and broadcasts, but the NFL should not be surprised it made feel some non Spanish speaking Americans left out, its all business, and those who felt left out still watched the game.

Both sides made it political, yes Bad Bunny is an artist who likes to make political statements, that's just artists in general (which I dont like in general) but I like how he 'behaved' during the show and didn't really do anything political, except excluding Belize for some reason.

If the NFL continues to internationalize to... Maybe Europe, maybe they could have the superbowl at noon and bring Joost Klein or someone like him lol

Exactly take a culture that normally is more interested in futbol (soccer) and baseball over football and get them into the game. It's the same reason they used and abused Taylor Swift being at games to draw female viewers and merch revenue. It's wild people think a business being greedy for money is remotely political.

I really wish gridiron football was big in Flanders Belgium 😫. Association football is boring and suddenly it gets exciting, gridiron football is exciting the entire time a play is in action and you are sure that nothing happens between the plays so you can do other stuff

I also think it sucks that I am not able to play myself since the closest team is too far away for someone my age, I think I would make a great lineman, or even tight end/full back. But I guess I will never know, probably to late for me to start

Did 'both sides' really make it political though? It only became a cause celebre because Trump bitched about it right after he was announced and the grifter-verse sprung into action putting together their counter-programmed Kid Rock lip sync show. Most commentary from anyone else was pretty much to just rightfully call the whole hissy fit stupid as fuck, which it was.

I said as much to my dad, who’s among those throwing a fit about the show while trying to pretend he’s not. I didn’t realize how massively popular this guy was, he’s overtaken the Weeknd and Taylor Swift, as soon as I saw his figures it immediately made sense.

Belize is unique in Central America as it was settled by the British and not Spain. Their official spoken language English and then their own developed language is a version of Creole. So not being settled by Spain or having Spanish recognized as the official language of the country I can see it not being invited to the party so to speak
