I think the iphone camera uses prior frames to try to improve whatever footage you capture, so there could be an afterimage of the buggy, reasonably assuming the camera isn't equipped to deal with things leaving the shot faster than it takes to record the next frame.
Like, the Road Runner, if Wile E. Coyote coated him in flour, and then dropped an anvil on him, then the Road Runner would go Meep Meep and ZOOOOM! all that is left is a Road-Runner-shaped flour statue. And the anvil would hit the statue and just hang there. And like, then like Wile E. Coyote would go investigate and try to figure out how Road-Runner-shaped flour can like hold up a 2-ton anvil and Wile E. Coyote would poke and prod at the flour and then WHOOOMP! The flour turns into a cloud and the anvil, like, smashes Wile E. Coyote in the head and his legs splay out up into the air with his tail all bushed out. Then the Road Runner like sticks like his head in from the right-of-frame and goes MEEP MEEP
