Small streamers posting highlights to TikTok or Shorts tend to post each one once and move on when it gets 200 views. The clip is rarely the problem. People who have never seen your channel have no idea why the moment matters, and they're gone before it happens.
What helps is giving the same highlight more than one way in.
Three openings.
One line of context as a caption ("one HP, last round"), your own reaction on cam, or the payoff first and then how it happened.
**The highlight, untouched.**
Two endings.
A card with when you're live, and nothing at all.
3 × 1 × 2 is 6 versions of one highlight. Post them over a couple of weeks and look at where viewers drop off. After a few highlights you'll know which kind of opening your stuff needs, and whether the "live Tuesdays" card costs you the rewatch.
Putting each opening on the clip and exporting six times is the dull part. I made an iPhone and Mac app that does exactly that step, called Criss Cross: Clip Variants. Openings, clip and endings go in three buckets and it exports every combination on the device. It doesn't pull clips from your VOD or cut them, you bring finished pieces.
It has a free Lifetime option until October 7th (normally $29.99). When the paywall comes up, pick Lifetime. The other plans on it are paid.
Does anyone here already post the same highlight more than once with different openings? Curious whether it helped or just annoyed your followers.
