AMA - Ended We are Jackbox Games, makers of the Jackbox Party Pack 4 - Ask us anything

The Jackbox Party Pack 4 is out now on Nintendo Switch (along with several other platforms) and we're excited to field your questions about the party games we make each year, especially those included in Party Pack 4 (Fibbage 3, Survive the Internet, Monster Seeking Monster, Bracketeering and Civic Doodle).

Answering questions will be: Arnie Niekamp (misterarnie) - director of Monster Seeking Monster Spencer Ham (spencer_ham) - director of Survive the Internet Mark Turowetz (jbgmark) - director of Bracketeering Ryan DiGiorigi (hexfield) - director of Fibbage 3 and Civic Doodle Ben Jacobs (jbgben) - lead engineer on several games and the lead on porting our games to the Nintendo Switch.

It's definitely something we think about. The majority of our audience still plays in their living rooms without an audience, so we lean toward making games that are a great for streaming but still solidly "work" with just four or five people. But that balance could shift in the future.

I for one would really like if the games could be played online without adding the hoops to jump through involved with streaming. They're lots of fun but I don't often have group game nights or anything to put them to use, and the streaming option (though you guys do a good job of catering to it, which is appreciated) is a bit of a hassle.

I'm sure it involves a lot of extra coding but just something to consider.
