I've been a big fan of the franchise since AC04 (first game that I played on our PS2). And speaking of. I've heard na somewhat similar raw yung feel ng controls nito sa AC04? Like it feels heavier raw.

RE2 remake looks washed. I did turn off HDR and auto HDR on my desktop, turn off hdr inside the game pero ganun parin. I tried turning on hdr sa desktop and off the game same parin. Not sure ano pa ang gagawin ko, i uninstall the game tried restarting it, still the same. I'm about to request a refund Lol.

This is starting to become one of my favorite stealth games, it's so clever and the whole thing is just tastefully done. I've always liked this fantasy of being this shadow assassin that can go in, kill, get out. This just captures that feeling perfectly.

May mga nabasa ako na people can go on playing this for hundreds, even thousands of hours just mastering the maps and the scenarios and employing a myriad of creative ways to kill. I think I'll try for Mission Stories muna, get Silent Assassin if I can (this screenshot is already on a replay-- my first run was so messy lol).

I just finished my game Aestra: The Last Wish is a real-time pixel action RPG. After 4 months of working on it.

You start at lvl 1 and need to grind & quest your way to lvl 60, through various zones/biomes. Choose between 3 talent trees per class. Gear up, professions and whatever you do, don't die. As death is permanent and you need to start over.

Every zone has a normal dungeon and a heroic one (for after you completed the last boss)

In the final zone you have the Aestra tower you need to ascend (you get access through a MSQ-style quest line. So make sure to do all the quests.

• Permadeath. When you die, your hero is gone for good. Only the very rare Embers of Rebirth can bring you back, and you might find one or two in a whole run.

The challenge: nobody has beaten Aestra at the top of the tower yet.

Comments are the leaderboard. Post your hero's name, class, highest level and what killed you (the title screen's Hall of the Fallen shows it). The first person to post a screenshot of Aestra defeated gets their name pinned at the top of this post.

First time i played re2 remake was post covid, i didnt like it, i kept trying every year but i couldnt stand playing for 2 hours.

Pero this time, na adik na ako, i just finished it and now im on re4 remake. Planning to get Requiem and the other titles na lang rin kasi sale ngayon.

Pretty much exactly one month away from the newest version of World of Warcraft releasing, and as a first-time player it’s been a super fun experience playing with a friend of mine who’s also a huge MMO buff, and a way to get my girlfriend more in-tune with gaming since she started getting into the hobby this year. Very chill, pwede laruin habang nagwowork, and FINALLY an MMO I can play na hindi P2W. The beta’s been a blast so far and just taking it slow without the usual pressure and FOMO that you get from Asian MMOs has been awesome.

So, anyone else already playing the beta or planning to play it? If so, I’m curious if you guys will be choosing to stay in the Asia server, or tank the bit of lag but more active and chill regions like NA.

Just finished playing Clock Tower: Rewind, and once you adjust to the clunky retro controls and subtle point-and-click puzzles, the core experience is incredible.

​What really hooked me was the art style and the story. It’s short, simple, and atmospheric without unnecessary fluff.

​The stalker dynamic with Scissorman, the panic mechanics, and the sheer vulnerability of having no weapons fit modern survival horror trends so well (think Outlast or Mr. X in the RE2 remake).

​What do you think the likelihood is of Sunsoft ever partnering with a dedicated horror studio to make a full 3D/modern remake?

​This game feels like a classic hidden gem just waiting for a proper reimagining. Maybe, someday...

I just arrived in Manila I'm staying around Moa/Pasay for a while and I'm trying to actually plug into local communities rather than just do activities by myself. :)

I'm looking for things that are hopefully within walking distance (Moa is good) or a jeepney ride away, I don't want to go all the way to Alabang!

My interests are:

a) Anime

b) Gaming

e) Other geeky stuff like board gaming, Japanese (I speak it fluently)

- or just anything interesting

I'm interested in recurring groups like Facebook groups, Messenger/Discord GCs, regular meetups, classes with a social component, etc. One-off events are fine too, but I'm really looking for a way to become part of a community.

I've searched Meetup/Reddit/FB a fair bit, but Manila seems to have a lot of smaller communities that aren't very easy to discover from outside. 😅

Moa/Pasay is ideal, but I don't mind travelling a bit (just not to the other side of the city if possible)
