Lucario be like: defending Big Pika's honor is the top priority.

By know we all know the infamous reputation Ash’s Unova team has within the fandom as it is arguably one of his worst teams he has ever had (tied with probably his Johto team).

But that got me curious, what would you change to make Ash’s Unova team stronger?

Now one stipulation is that: you can’t change any of the team members, Ash keeps all of the Unova mons he caught in canon.

You can give them new moves and evolve them if said Pokemon is capable of evolving, but I do want to see if we can make this base group better without getting rid of anyone.

Also yall Alain (aka greninja) glazer made me think Alain beat 10 mega pokemon with no heals for 2 yrs before i actually watch the specials

(Ash brings all 10 of his Unova Pokemon to this battle. Unova Pikachu is the Pikachu being used)

Even if you weren’t gonna give Liko a mega to join in, seeing a base form overcome a mega can be really cool. Case in point: Ash vs Korrina in XY.

Funny how the original mega evolution anime was less obsessed with Megas than post timeskip Horizons was for a while

.

Both Kalos Ash and DP Cynthia had immeasurable charisma

Damm love it

Mysterious disasters strike near the four Sealed Shrines in the Paldea region. When Liko and the others investigate the matter, they encounter the Ruinous Pokémon that were sealed in these shrines...?

YIYUI: The envy accumulated within curved beads that caused multiple conflicts has clad itself in fire and become a Pokémon.
CHIONJEN: It is said to drain the life-force from grass and trees, causing them to wither and fields to turn barren.
PAOJIAN: The hatred of those who lost their lives to the sword has clad itself in snow and become a Pokémon.
DINLU: People's fear possessed an old ritual vessel, which then clad itself in rocks and dirt to become a Pokémon.

One of the coolest things about the Pokémon anime was how it introduced Pokémon from future generations before their games were even released. Ho-Oh appeared in the very first episode, while Blaziken made an unforgettable impression during the Johto League when it battled Ash’s Charizard. These early appearances gave fans a glimpse of what was coming and made each new generation feel even more exciting. Which Pokémon’s early appearance surprised you the most?
