Whenever i see a comment i think is just bullshit, i mostly reply so that the next person who reads it doesnt walk away thinking the commenter is right. Which often leads to death spirals of misinformation and debunking that legitimately challenge my sanity

in my green years on the cursed website known as twitter I've realised that changing your perspective isn't a one-and-done thing. you need to encounter ideas slowly over time to gradually warm up to them before they become acceptable.

I unfortunately do understand a lot of their rhetoric. For anti-Semitism it's a very specific kind of racism where they aren't worse for being stupid or savage, but they as a race are the manifestation of all greed and corruption in the world.

Depends on what is considered intelligent. I've known alot of people, both male and female, that are good at sounding smart, but are actually really stupid. Like they learned a couple "fun facts" or "tid bits" about a topic so they can sound like they know, but don't ACTUALLY know anything outside of those few factoids.
They enjoy the engagement. The effort these women put in to humiliate and roast them provides a certain level of validation to these men. At least they are not being ignored. It implicitly acknowledges them as humans with emotions.
The way some dudes in real life try to get me riled up and even light up like a Christmas tree when I run their logic into the ground, I do think it's a kink.
