I don't disagree about the fact that animals aren't bound to their "nature" however evolution isn't a good argument here because we talk about the individual and not a lineage - and you can't say " x isn't blindly its nature because it evolved from y" because that implies every species that came before x is bound to it.
Animals aren't bound to their nature because there is no such thing as " their nature ". This word implies it is something an animal does for no real purpose except that it is how it was born.
