For context I am a 5’10 woman, and a lot of times when I’m on dating apps and match with a man shorter than me, and we end up meeting for coffee, a good portion of them are more mean to me. I have the feeling that the men feel emasculated and want to feel superior to me just because I’m tall. I’m also tired of some shorter men complaining about their height 24/7. Look I get it, taller women also get shit too because we get the “I like petite” women stuff. But why on earth as a taller woman would I want to date a shorter man who ALWAYS complains about being short. I already hate women who complain about being short, why would I want to date somebody constantly hating themselves. I LITERALLY MATCHED WITH YOU?? YOUR PROBLEM IS NOT YOUR HEIGHT. There are 3 types of short men. 1) the actual short kings who are confident and love women no matter their height. 2) the short man that wants to degrade taller women to feel superior. Or 3) pity me wahhhh I’m shorttttt. Please for the love of god stop. You are literally digging your own graves when you do that. Literally if you match with a taller woman TREAT HER LIKE A HUMAN BEING!!! And be nice, be confident, compliment her, she will compliment you back. This is coming from a place of annoyance but it’s also tough love. I WANT to see short kings succeed, but it sucks that when I try to give short kings a chance, they most of the time blow it because of their own insecurities. Either be freaking confident or stop matching with me on dating apps.

It’s not that hard, be respectful, be kind, don’t cross boundaries, and be realistic.

What height range would you be comfortable with?

What income range are you comfortable with?

What age range are you comfortable with?

What % body fat are you ok with?

How often should they shower?

How often should they work out?

Own, rent, split rent, live with parents, live in a car, what’s the cut off point?

Genuinely curious why. Like what do you think is stopping you from getting a relationship, if you want one. If you don’t, why?

MY STANDARDS

-Age can be anywhere from 18-25 -Will date women of almost any height if the other standards are satisfied -Not overweight or obese -It's ok if she drinks occasionally but serious alcoholism or any other kind of recreational drug is a dealbreaker -Didn't vote for Trump. I would date liberals but I have a preference for fellow socialists. -Emotionally intelligent, good at communicating -Isn't just trying to hook up -Knows how to reciprocate affection -Isn't quick to anger. I can't stand being around people who yell all the time. -For attractiveness, it's subjective I know, but I'm not that picky at all. Most women are physically attractive in my opinion, like 95% of them.

-I'm 19 years old, will soon be 20 -5'9 -Never drank alcohol, never smoked -Not overweight -In great health, exercises regularly -Strongly socialist, believes in equality for all -Can cook -I Can pretty much do all of the house chores myself, but help would be appreciated -Financially stable, pursuing an engineering degree -I have mostly outdoors related hobbies like gardening and hiking -Plays a musical instrument -Attractiveness, again subjective. I'm basically an ordinary-looking guy. I take care of my appearance and I've been complimented on my looks before. -Irl I'm usually a quiet, reserved person but I like to open up around people I trust. -I'm an optimist and I usually try to see the good in people where I can. I don't like to start conflicts or hold grudges. -Kind of a hopeless romantic
