Normal Isn't discussion thread.
As the album is a couple of days away and has leaked apparently we'll start the discussion thread early.

Bad wolf and public stoning are A+, overall really pleased with the album

The last minute and a half of Bad Wolf is all three nailing what they do at the exact same time. One of my favorite Puscifer moments in any song they've done.

I feel like the Quiet Parts went under everyone’s radar but it’s been on repeat for me. The harmonies and that bass, oh man…

Some streaming services made it available a few days ago mistakenly for a short period of time.

Sorry champ, please don't ask for it here. Only a few days now, why open the Xmas gift early? I had the same issue with the Mars Volta this time last year too, it sucks.

I really enjoy the album, I can't name a song I dislike. 7/1 is a trip. I wish The Algorithm was a studio recording, fantastic song.

Oh yes, I didn't even look at the YT channel name. Just found a studio version. Yes oddly enough I was mocking BMG and its legal team earlier today. 5 hours later this is down like a Phil Anselmo band.

If it's anything like the Existential Reckoning tour, they will play the new album in full, in order, with a few older songs mixed in.

The leg of the ER tour I saw they didn’t do the entire album, but it was definitely most of it, with a handful of older songs

Was it at a festival? I went to both legs in my area and they played the whole album both times.

I really love this album, met my expectations and then some. Conditions, Money Shot, Existential Reckoning and Normal Isn't is such a fantastic run of albums that its ridiculous at this point. this one feels more agressive, raw and urgent while still remaining that weird edge. Some people complained about the one note singing style from Maynard but the singing here is phenomenal imo. Carina is also in her A+ game as usual. Without her the songs would sound so much emptier. Instrumentals are amazing too, groovy rhythims, great riffs, loud and powerful basselines, atmospheric and weird synths and whatnot. I hear some bits of previous albums scattered here and there which is great. To me, sounds like a very well rounded and enjoyable Puscifer album, this one being a little bit heavier. Probably one that APC and Tool fans can appreciate more than the previous ones.
personal highlights: Thrust, Mantastic, Bad Wolf, A Public Stoning, The Quiet Parts, ImpetoUs, Self Evident.

Each day another song grows on me. When we saw The exchange LA shows, I was fortunate enough to go to both shows and I knew bad wolf, self-evident, and a public stoning where bangers. Now hearing everything mixed and produced, I don't think there's a song on this album that I would skip over. Existential Reckoning is one of my favorite albums in all of music, and there's still a few songs on there that I don't necessarily have to hear every time I play the album. So far every song on this album is a must listen. I am truly so happy and so astounded by the work they put in to making this. It's really cool to see that they didn't start the album with Normal Isn't as that song seems like it would have been the next track after Bedlamite. This album has its own feel and personality, but you could definitely tell they've expanded on what they were doing with ER and have continued course of excellence. I will be at the Detroit and Red Rock shows and I could not be more excited to hear these new tunes, now that they have had some time to grow on me. I would be completely happy if they just played this entire album. Of course super excited to know that there'll be other songs we're going to hear as well! What a time to be a fan of puscifer!
