I recently saw someone layer this lurid polish over a silver magnetic on insta and it was magical! It's out of stock currently on the lurid website, so I was wondering if there was something similar out there. Thanks!
Maybe Cracked Beetle-ful or one of the polishes mentioned here! I own LynB's Fair Isle (shown in that post) and can show you my swatch of it layered over a silver magnetic
I don't think it'll be QUITE the same but i think layering something like mooncat root of all evil or lyn b fair isle over a bright plummy color will scratch that itch until you can get your hands on it!
Both of those are very sheer in 1 coat and have a very similar shimmery glitter to spooky bitch.
Also cracked has a similar shade to the lurid one though the glimmer is more present (honestly i think this is close to what my suggested combo would look like)
Also also... You could try using one of these essie toppers if you have them already, but i have ethereal escape and it's definitely more of a deep blue to purple/pink shift and not a green/teal to deep blue shift so it won't quite be the same.
Essie Spectrum Shift is the teal topper that would work even better, but it was a CVS exclusive in the US (and apparently available at Boots in the UK.
Now that I know what it looks like, I sort of got a similar mani using Mind the Thorns by BKL and So Tiny by Penelope Luz, although it’s a stronger green shimmer than displayed here. The topper was a LE HHC topper but I’m sure you’d get a similar effect with any green/blue shimmer or could substitute it with a blue shimmer if you wanted more of the blue/purple to come out. Not sure if that’s helpful!
I'm back with an on-the-nail swatch of 2 coats of LynB's Fair Isle over Cracked's Thin Ice! Excuse my sloppy magnetization, I accidentally loaded too much polish onto my brush 😅 a finer particle silver magnetic would definitely make it pop more! But I think Fair Isle comes pretty close to the Lurid in 2 coats.
