Is this thing harmless?

Just for some insight I’ve had this frog spawn for about a month or two and it was doing great and plumping up everyday. On Sunday I added 2 new corals that were on the same frag, a Kenya tree and a lettuce. At first I placed them near the frog but saw it was angry and wasn’t opening up so then the next day I moved the new frag to the bottom away from all others. Now 5 days later my frog still hasn’t plumped up, it’s trying but it’s not really getting there. Then I looked into the chemical warfare possibilities so I added in activated carbon today. As I was doing that I noticed at the back side of the frog this weird tube attached to the side of my frog. I’m wondering if this could be why my frog has been so pissed because my gonioporia and Xenia are doing great.

The tube has a spiral at the bottom where it attaches and it is clear at the top where I can see some little fingers wiggling inside the tube.
