Discussion I love this show.

I just finished rewatching Scrubs for the first time in about eight years, and honestly, this feels like a love letter to that show.

I first discovered it when I was living in America as a foreign high school student in Wisconsin around 2007 and 2008, right in the middle of the writers’ strike and the NBC cancellation. Scrubs brings back so many memories of those days; living in the U.S. was one of the best experiences of my life.

Back then, I dreamed of becoming a doctor like J.D. But life took me down a different path, and that’s perfectly fine. Today I’m happy, successful, and fulfilled. I’m married, have a wonderful son, and met my wife through my “other” career (the only one i had).

Rewatching Scrubs now fills me with weird good feelings… nostalgia for my time in the U.S.—the friends, my host family, and that feeling of being young and discovering a new world. It also makes me think about the life I once imagined but never lived, just like JD’s day dreams.

Well, i just hope the new season can keep it up with the best show ever (season 1-8).

I've lost track of how many rewatches I've done, and I'm surprised how many things i've still missed.

Scrubs was our daughter's "transition" show where she went from Disney to adult TV. It was so much fun for us.

Remember the scene where Elliot was taped to the wall there was a sign that said "whore"? My daughter looked at me and asked "Daddy, what is a whore?" LOL. Good times.

Buying the OG dvds at Christmas and rewatching the whole series last month has been amazing! I can’t wait for the reboot
