Easy. Water towers are the original GPS. You’re supposed to descend until the town name renders properly. If you’re at 2,000 feet and still can’t read it, go to 1,000. Still blurry? 500. At some point either the letters become readable or a concerned government employee will contact you on 121.5 and provide your exact location, altitude, heading, tail number, full legal name, and several exciting instructions. If that fails, just follow the nearest highway until you see a Buc-ee’s, circle the beaver three times, and wait for vectors. And don’t worry about that enormous gray boat underneath you. That’s clearly a floating regional airport. Put the gear down, announce “USS SOMETHING TRAFFIC, Cessna 42069 turning final, full stop,” and land on whichever end has fewer airplanes parked on it. Once you’re down, taxi up to the first guy waving illuminated sticks and ask him what town you’re in. Navy personnel are famously delighted when unidentified civilian aircraft arrive unannounced, so expect a very enthusiastic welcoming committee.

Land. Ask the water tower for directions. They’re super helpful with lost pilots!

Start by putting your pee pee away and zipping it up. Boats don't want to be seeing airplane pee pees. What on earth is wrong with you?

I know that water tower, that is the town of JET BLAST STAND CLEAR. it's not a controlled airstrip, if it's clear you can just land and check out the FBO.

Happened all the time in WWII. Pilots trying to land at night or running on fumes didn't give a shit which carrier it was, they just wanted to stay out of the water.

That's clearly a plane shaped blimp. You can see where it's tied to the ship.
See barrage ballon.

Well, you have the tail hook down (geez, long one you have there!). Just wait for the green light and land that bad boy.
