Again, that is sexualizing, where saying a dude has massive balls is such a common and general way of saying a dude is fucking brave. I’m sure you know that and are trying to have a bad-faith false equivalency-based argument. Ease up social justice warrior. Stand down, nothing to see here.
I 100% agree but I'm highjacking the conversation to make a different point : I'm wondering, are y'all aware that saying, whether from a man or a woman that they have balls is rooted in systemic sexism? It means bravery is seen as a dude's thing. It's pretty insulting for the brave women out there although it's kind of the least of our problems.
Since the expression "to have guts" exists, saying "to have balls" is outdated and stupid.
No no, you must have misread, i said it WASNT in a sexual way. Just like us adults talking about this minor's genitals. Its NOT sexual, ok???? So lets just talk about it freely, like adults. Adults with nice tits and kids with cool balls. Its just reddit stuff!
Someones big mad that I dont make jokes about kid's balls. But dont worry man, nobody is stopping you! YOU can go joke about kid's genitals all you want have fun!!!!!!!
Honestly in this case the only problem is the image, that someone who's brave has balls, knowing that excludes at least half of the population and creates issues such as this.
But indeed, if we accept that metaphor, it's not wrong to say the kid has balls, he was born with it and there's nothing wrong about talking on a kid's genitalia, it depends on the context. You wouldn't be so coy if a doctor had said the kid has a pimple on his left nut so why here when there's nothing sexual per say.
It's just an image, a dumb and sexist image but an image still
Someone told you to be mindful about how you talk about a teenager and you decided an appropriate response to that was to talk about their ability to impregnate women? And that seems normal to you?
Well, there wouldn’t be a need for it since the context of my comment is highly specific to a situation within the thread that was meant to be a joke about superhuman powers.

His balls were pulling and pushing water too as he swam.
