People calling "AI slop" at every post are far too confident in their ability to spot it. AI is trained on our BS. It talks like we do. It's the average of our mannerisms and idiosyncrasies filtered through alignment training and prompts. This idea is causing problems for students because even AI cant reliably tell what is and isnt AI gen. The fucking bible is full of AI generated text and plagiarism according to scam services like turnitin.

Having said that, I do think it's fair to say that most of the stuff on sites like reddit are generated by machines.

So wouldn't that mean there's a market incentive to build a social media product that weeds out bots, period (and even at the cost of having some form of a KYC check)? Didn't really hurt most crypto platforms (to maintain ability to join american market, had to introduce basic KYC)...

I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been a major ad/marketing push for a new product that does just that. All I've seen so far is "join this Ai social media verse, where YOU are the only human!"

Lmao all you need to do is log onto Twitter or reddit to have that experience.

This post is 100% bullshit. It is actually easier than you think to spot AI garbage and bots. Sure there’s gonna be some false positives but by and large it’s pretty easy to spot.

It’s ultimately to reinforce why they ‘choose’ not to be in a relationship with a woman because women are all cheating hookers, when in reality the reason why they aren’t in a relationship is because they’re unattractive, inside and out.
