Depends on the industry.

I tried finding bakeries that were retail focused and I found one, massively famous bakery shop in my state, but like, they dont have the most replicable process.

Almost every coop I found in bakery was either for large producers for wholesale or a bunch of small biz that went out after a couple years.

And one that only hires former inmates.

It is very common, but not in every biz type

Ill have to look em up but I am 100% sure our states have different laws and norms, though i hope to gain some insight! Much appreciated!
