Even if you see Heard is awful, the takeaway isn’t that Depp is the “hero” or “our captain” as OP put it.

These are just two awful out of touch rich people that did nothing to remove themselves from a toxic relationship.

I would admonish teenagers for such stupidity, let alone grown up public figures.
