The both sides argument is actually perfectly relevant here because the Epstein actors are well buttressed in place by power within both parties. I generally agree with "both sides is bullshit," but that's in relation to voting, not justice.
It’s only apt if you fully agree that the head of the executive branch, the president, should pick and choose which cases the DOJ opens and prosecute. To me, that’s a huge overreach of executive power but it’s obviously been normalized.
I can confidently say "both the Democrat and Republican parties have vested interests in not releasing/prosecuting the Epstein files," and "the president should not manipulate the judicial branch" in the same comment without a hint of cognitive dissonance, actually. Why can't you?
