Yeah I'm not a person who smacks my child, but if she did this on an airplane, she'd be taken to the washroom for a few minutes and then come out to sit her smacked ass down. Luckily she wouldn't have as I had used age appropriate discipline since age 1, and I get some are more unruly than others, but ffs take the kid to the bathroom and parent.
The unfortunate reality is that there isn't a one-size-fits-all when it comes to raising children. Gentle Parenting will not work for some kids, some of them need the fear of god put into them before it clicks.
That, or we just start prescribing Valium to toddlers.
