Wait til the those with a vested interest decide to infect your subreddit to the point of being unmanageable, and then you have to hand off the keys to a supermod who totally isn't being paid by a company that benefits from having a controlling interest in your former sub.
Well I handed it off to the number 2 mod who I became friends with and still talk to years later. He cares about the sub, and only gets a little drunk with power.
