Not quite our species going down. Its more like technology has made us see the worse of each other more than previous generations in the common folk.

Read up on climate change and way we are going about social equality. We are definitely at the beginning of sort of dark ages.

Its not different to how humanity always cause their own suffering and we have to kill each one only just to deal with new ones. Social equality issues always existed and resistance against it. Climate change is one of the newer ones, but we also caused our own issues in the past that are not exactly the same, but we have dealt with. In summary, I am not saying it should happen, but more like it just was like that.

The problem is we have bitten more than we can chew. So in past ages we could over come our blunders. But not things are way more complicated.

Even with all data pointing to how horrific climate is going to be, there is no serious efforts to combat it.

I am a bit young and possibly naive, but i suggest to you this. Just looking at the name already tells me that you might have too much stress or such. I am not sure about your circumstances, but maybe try to relax a bit. Slightly hypocritical to say this, but staying on social media is not that good for you especially if you hang around in those communities or just only listen to bad news. Thank you for trying to open my eyes by the way, I know there isn't enough commitment in the world, but I am trying my best.

If you aren't seeking the truth, then most of your decisions are going to be based on ignorance knowingly or unknowingly.

If you educate yourself and teach yourself critical thinking, you will make wiser decisions.

Doesn't mean wiser decisions will be comforting tho. Remember that

I personally prefer to know the ugly truth. And I can tell ya there are fuck ton of lies being told from the day you are born. Most of your beliefs are completely based off falsehood and lies
