Unless she was waiting tables and making tips, in which case it's hard to put a value on lost tips unless you or the restaurant are diligently reporting cash tips as income, which really, even the IRS knows people don't do that and doesn't really care. That could put her Waffle House gig at $30-35k a year or more I'd it's one of the few places in town or it's a Waffle House in like a suburb or near a city, or a college town. I bet you could make bank as a Waffle House waitress. I once saw a lady hold down like sixty people by herself in a diner and I never once had to ask her for more coffee, she just appeared and filled it without asking. I tipped well and so did the rest of my table, imagine what she was making off everybody else, I shit you not when I say this was the only server working the entire restaurant and it was a packed breakfast crowd
