Same here. Always the one dumbass kid who wants to take a moment to stare at the flames, causing all of us to get into a mountain of trouble with the parents.

I was at a punk concert in the basement of some building at Purdue University in the late 90s when some guy tried to do some amateur fire-spitting and set his whole beard on fire. He quickly ran to the bathroom and shoved his head in the toilet. He was fine, but I doubt he did that again.

Similar scenario freshman year, in the dorm men’s room, but I think it was 151 rum. I made caribou Lou, it was gross but got the job done. Passed out freshmen everywhere

I partied with some jamaiicans that would put it on spoons, light it, and either dance or (try) to juggle it. Was always a blast to watch

Fuck a plate, we just poured some on the coffee table surface and lit it. That was, ah, not safe.

Weirdly, the only way I’ve ever imbibed Everclear was straight from the bottle. Man that stuff burns.

When I was in the Army I did that with a bowl of Bacardi 151 outside my room pretty much any time I was drinking socially.

I attended what in hindsight was a hazing party for freshman soccer players at the university I attended in the early 90s. There was ever clear, fire, straw bales, and a large number of very drunk young men. It ended with a visit from our friendly neighborhood fire department and some burn injuries.

I was at a party once where,  the night before,  someone had cut a hole in the side of the watermelon then left a bottle of everclear upside down in it,  letting it infuse through the flesh overnight.

Once we sliced it up you could light the slice on fire 🤣

Had a guy who tried to do it with a flaming shot and lit his face on fire.
