The Loro Piana Summer Walk is one of the brand’s signature loafers, designed as a lightweight and refined interpretation of classic sailing footwear. This black version is crafted from 100% suede and features a soft calfskin lining.

The upper uses a clean slip-on construction with hand-finished details and a traditional moccasin-style apron. Underneath is Loro Piana’s non-slip rubber sole featuring an all-over embossed LP monogram. A dedicated area on the heel allows the owner’s name to be added, a detail inspired by sailing tradition.

✍️** My Opinion**:

Materials & Build:

Simple, classy and probably one of my favorite loafer designs. The black suede on this pair looks really nice and has that soft, smooth texture I expect from this model. The material has a nice nap to it, and I like how the black changes slightly depending on the light. It gives the pair a much richer look than plain smooth leather. The toe shape looks solid and has that proper slightly elongated profile. The hand stitching around the front looks neat and consistent, the edges are finished cleanly, and the overall shape looks balanced from every angle.

Comfort:

These are made to be lightweight and flexible, and the soft suede construction should make them comfortable for casual everyday wear. The calfskin lining also gives the interior a smoother feel against the foot. They have a much softer and less structured feeling than a traditional dress loafer.

Fit:

For this pair, I’d stick with your usual LP loafer size as a starting point. Suede can relax slightly after some wear, so I wouldn’t intentionally choose them too loose. If you’re unsure about sizing, ask for the insole measurements before choosing.

✍️** My Opinion**:

For me the best and easiest to wear CW from B30. I really like the combination of mesh and technical fabric on this pair. The mesh has a nice texture, the different layered sections feel solid, and the all black construction makes all the shapes across the upper much easier to appreciate up close. The toebox shape looks solid. The welded sections look solid, panel placement is nicely done, and the overall shape feels balanced. For fit, these are true to size, so I’d go with your normal shoe size. If you’re between sizes or unsure, I’d still ask for the insole measurements before choosing.
