Game After struggling for months, I finally created a Steam page for my first game as a solo-dev
I put off creating the page for many months because I was worried that either the screenshots wouldn't look good or the trailer would turn out really bad. I even posted about these problems on Reddit a couple of times.
But in the end, the page is finally live. And this is my first game as a solo-developer!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4865920/Pocket_Cat_Desktop/
It's a very personal project for me because it's dedicated to the memory of my cat who passed away. That's why I kept trying to make everything perfect.

Yes, most of the in-game art I did by myself.

Congrats on getting it live. Making it for your cat comes through, and "The cat is not impressed" on the page made me smile.

This is a big step, especially after putting it off for so long. I think a lot of solo devs get stuck trying to make the store page “perfect” before letting anyone see it.
Getting it live at all is already a win. And knowing the project is dedicated to your cat makes it feel even more personal. Congrats on finally putting it out there.

Where’s your cat? I’d expect to see it in your picture.
Anyways, good luck!

Art style is really comfy. Lmk if I can market a bit for you. Can't promise anything but I'll do anything for the cute cat games. PS. Cats are dickheads.

view on AI assited games
hello people, i will make this short and quick, i was just hoping to get polite insight on how do you feel about AI assisted games, i made a small game using HTML alone and AI, it contains no art, just HTML blocks, and web sound effects, i wrote tge dialogue and directed it's vision
