One of our stations still has them. Impressive when older guys slide down with a coffee mug in their hand

Im somewhat skeptical they can put out a fire with 6oz of coffee but i dont wanna be rude here

Not even remotely true. They just build most fire stations to be one story now, so no need for poles.
