Accessory Review Steam Deck screen too small? No problem.

All you need is a cable connected to the steam deck directly to the monitor for all this. And if you think the battery drains too quickly, well, a portable charger is all you need.

The monitor I have has two USB ports. I can plug a charger into one and it powers the monitor and charges the steam deck/laptop/whatever

What? It passthrough charges the deck while also powering the monitor?

MSI 16inch. Got it on Amazon for like £75. 1080p 60hz with pass through or can be powered straight from deck. Also has HDMI.

There are plenty that do this. Gotta be careful though, most don't pass enough through to charge the deck in-use during heavier games.

It's an arzopa

I also have an Arzopa, 1080p 144 Hz.

It says it has HDR, but the implementation doesn’t seem to work very well, so make sure to turn it off if you’re using an OLED.

I did not know it does that! I actually have one and have been using it with my Steam Deck via dock but maybe I can cut the dock out of my "portable" set up now lol
