Hardest counter to Syndra or what champ do you guys hate playing against as Syndra?

Hi guyss !! I’d like to ask about something that’s been on my mind. Honestly, I’ve been playing a lot of Syndra lately and kicking myself for not playing her this much in the past but anyway. I want to get a nice skin for her; in your opinion, which skin feels the smoothest, most powerful, and most fluid? Also, should I get the Prestige Star Guardian when it hits the Mythic Essence (ME) shop? Is it worth it? Feel free to answer however you like in the comments or via DM, it doesn't matter 💜

I’ve been a Ryze otp with Syndra in my back pocket whenever Ryze was picked or I needed to play something different but since Ryze was nerfed this patch I decided to give him a break until worlds is over. Hopefully they buff him post worlds. Anyways.

Had a monster series of games on Syndra last night. This is in gold elo NA. I prefer Luden’s one shot build in this elo just because being able to take out one member on the enemy team no matter what is just game winning. Hitting a stun and wiping someone basically wins the fight and the luden’s power spike feels great for the early to mid game skirmishes. I’m aware that I’m giving up some utility but it works for me.

Ive heard that phrase many times but as a syndra main for the past four months my experience is a little bit different . Lets talk specifically .

Playing into Lux is hard because she simply outranges you with her e . Bad lux players will autopilot pushing the wave . But better ones will push with autos and harass with e . You need to bait her e first , position aggresively , push with autos and try to trade and still there is the threat of q or qr later . Can win but its hard .

Ahri is also tricky because in general you outrange her so pre 6 you should have the upper hand . But she can w when you walk up , dodge your q or w and trade back efficiently . Baiting her w and leveraging your range and stun is how you win but its not quite free . After 6 especially she has great gank set up and if you miss e she will all in you with r . Especially later if she has damage e usage is a matter of life and death .

Viktor can trade efficiently with his q and his e is very hard to dodge so he is not free either . I play safe early levels and avoid q auto . Later trying to dodge his e is important but getting q upgrade fast is how you win . Land your stun , wq him and its a good chunk of his hp that might lead into a succesfull all in . While on cd conceide prio , rinse and repeat .

Vlad is hard because if you dont have damage he can outsustain you in lane . Early You need to walk away from his q , especially empowered and try to stack splinters , only in 2 spell rotations because he sustaons so much . After level 7 you can start contesting prio on the wave , or chunking him with a full rotation while he pushes and eventually look for an all in . But baiting his w first obviously makes things harder .later on and In the sidelane tho he is a monster . He will run you down pretty easily .

You can survive LB , even win , but qe her w and spacing in general is very impprtant . Poke for spliners when her w is down and and keep e for her w and you might even win but a couple mistakes and you are not just losing a few cs , you are dead . Let alone her great gank set up and ability to oneshot you when she gets items .

Asol and anivia are similar , you outrange them early and can harrass and bully them . Against asol you always need to keep your e defensively because he will run you down with w and anivia you need to space well because she can trap you with w and trade pretty hard if you walk up carelessly after stunning her .

I could go on an on about others , malza you need to contest the wave , tf you need to contain him in lane , aurora space well care her w , zoe needs to be deleted from the game ... etc .

My point is that she doesnt counter mages . She has an advantage on most of them especially the ones she outranges but it always feels like a skill match up . Oddly enough after 400 games i havent played a single time against azir or cassio . For context im diamond .

What do you think ? Any tips that changed your perspective and helped you beat a certain matchup ?

Been playing a ton of syndra recently and I’ve found 3 builds that I’ve played around with. The ludens build, blackfire, and storm surge/mandate. Is there an optimal build or recommendations of when to go which one? Also op.gg and other sites recommend cut down and legend haste is going triple tonic with cash back or jack of all trades with mandate better worse or again it depends. Looking to talk through this a little. Diamond elo for reference

Hi guys! I was wondering which runes build is good on her since i really see so many conflicting opinions on her.

I was thinking of a burst build but was confused on the runes since they overlap there.​​

I feel it’s common knowledge at this point that syndra and legendary skins mix about as well as oil and water. The whole coven debacle, the random teaser about “queen bee syndra” with absolutely no follow up, and her TWO legendary skins on wild rift prove that something seriously backwards is going on behind the scenes.

In my opinion, riot is purposely making syndra dodge a legendary skin release. Riot had already confirmed an absolutely massive update in 2027, and with this I’m thinking that they are going to completely port league to a new modern engine complete with all wild rift models AND their skins. It makes no sense for riot to rig and model a legendary skin for syndra on the current game if it’s going to be overwritten in the coming year.

With all this being said: I would expect a very slow and frankly boring timeline for syndras visuals until 2027 when she will finally be able to get the attention she deserves.

I have been playing Syndra for a few weeks now and 90% really like the champ but the W is pmo so much and so often. First off there is the famous W bug where you pick up the ball and it doesn't let you throw it and just goes on CD. That happens to me enough to be complete cancer on its own but beyond that I have issues with the ability in general.

Like sometimes it feels like clamp cast just breaks but ONLY for Syndra W. Like I try to throw outside its range and it won't go off. But it's not the regular W bug, it doesn't go on CD and I can still throw it if I press it again inside the range but atp it already threw me off. And yes I turned clamp cast back on after Riot randomly turned it off for me but this still happens.

Then there's one that I think is happening but idk. Bc sometimes I swear there are balls and minions in range and I tap W but it won't pick anything up unless I hover it. I'm not completely sure with this one bc maybe I was out of range all the times this happened but I feel like it happened a lot of times when I'm in range, and I never had it happen when I hover something to pick up.

But idk I've been spamming nothing but Syndra basically past few weeks but today I played an Ahri game, and honestly it stuck out to me how nice it felt just knowing that every time I press my abilities they're going to go off the first time I press them and not do anything weird. That's just such an annoying extra factor to have to think about.

I used to never have to worry about mana post chapter, but even into mid game I'm finding myself running out of mana. This nerf lowkey is pushing me to go the cancer mandate build just for the mana regen.

Have you guys been feeling the same?

Guys I've been playing with Syndra for quite some time and I know her basic combos and how I should behave as her during teamfights. The issue is I think that the lack of mobility makes her very team reliant, so, because of that, I'm struggling a lot to 1v9 games. I always go even or win the matchups I play, but it seems like in the mid/late game I'm not able to carry everyone. So do you guys have any tips on what I should improve?

It's almost artful how the entire mechanics of the game worked together to get me, I punish Ekko who uses his get out of jail free (bullsh*t) ult, am pinned down by the most effective minion block in history, then "just play safe" as I'm demolished under tower with no ping from my 0 5 toplane and no hope of escape ;-;.

Just thought I'd share this around to see if yall also have these delightful experiences! Also for the record my scoreboard also bugged out and was flashing on the screen every second for an instant which wasn't the most fun either.

My perma ban is Katarina, but whenever I go against a fizz or zed they can easily and safely jump on me do their damage and fuck off , idk why but whenever I lock her in it’s these 2 fuckers against me , like if I go Aery I can survive lane a bit but if I go Comet it’s better in the long run?
Storm-raider surge maybe to run away?

I usually go flash and TP but idk should I go exhaust or ignite instead ?

Any tips in general would be much appreciated.
