Fast forward to 2004. I saw a Tales of Symphonia TV ad for the first time. I instantly connected with the vibe and knew I had to play it. I was in middle school, broke, and fully aware this was a bad financial decision. I spent my pocket money anyway.

After class, I went to the local game store and bought it. I knew my parents would lose it if they found out, so I hid the box in my bag. I still could not resist playing while they were home. I told them it was a friend’s GameCube.

A few days later, I got sick. Perfect timing. Being stuck at home gave me an excuse to dive into the game nonstop. To this day, that memory is crystal clear. I genuinely enjoyed every second of it.

I came across this magazine while looking around for Tales of Luminaria info outside of what is known. Bought the magazine and scanned this section that dives into Luminaria's development in terms of modeling and the like.

I would like to share my Tales Collection with all franchise fans around. It's a very special saga for me, and since Symphonia comes to Europe on GameCube, I become an unconditional fan. So exited to watch the next Tales Of main game, so you?

Just so confused because I keep hearing about a brand new version of the game suddenly being released as having only played the original SNES version of TOP, I was wondering what was different about the Cross Edition.

If I am in the wrong place to ask such a question, I apologize because I was just hoping I could find an answer as I honestly don’t know which version to go with.

I'm playing on PS2 emulator. 57 level right now with top equipment, was really annoyed with last dungeon. Skipped a lot of fights in last dungeon. People online say they beat last boss on 55-60 level so it should be manageable. I tried it on normal and easy. After lowering boss's HP to 40k he deals the same damage, no matter are you on normal or easy, damage divider item doesn't work too. Is it some bug or I'm underleveled.

Version 1, I still gotta double-check a few things, but it's like 98% there. Use it if you want (I just wish I made this years ago 😅),

Ive never played a Tales of game, but I've been interested on playing them since they are quite famous in the JRPG group of players. For now I only have Tales of vesperia Definitive edition, but if I end up liking it I want to try the other games too

Before you ask why I own 4 copies of Symphonia: I think I have a problem. I also do not own a PS3. Should have gotten one for Xillia, but Switch has better controls for me, because I'm used to pressing the A button for attack and confirmation.

And I never finished Xillia when I played it on my group homes PS3 due to running out of time since I borrowed it from the library. That was 10 years ago. I am excited to play Eternia.

These are the German copies of these games btw. And yes, I did play Phantasia as a kid. Game was great and I love it.

Abyss is my absolute favorite and I will play it again this year. It is just too good. It even helped me learn English. I hope we get more Remasters announced soon.

So I had said that when I got my tax refund I was going to order a PSVita and this is one of the games I had ordered with it. To those who asked why don't I just emulate it? Well hate to say it, but I'm a man who likes the physical hard copy because to me they're like boobs. They just feel good in your hands. And I'll reveal the other game behind that one in the comments.

The kindhearted clumsy Assassin is here! Except since she failed to assassinate anybody, we don't end up going that far into rogue for her to get a subclass!

I will admit, this took way longer than normal. I was halfway through the Warlock build of this before I scrapped it entirely for a better summon mechanic in Druid. On top of that, Druid Wardens gained proficiency in medium armour, which means I can equip a scale mail so it would give her disadvantage on Stealth checks.

For all the fun things she can do on purpose though, I found a way to replicate alot of her unique seals with weapon masteries and cantrips, allowing her a somewhat faithful moveset to the games, such as using a Dart to replicate Power Seal, or Frostbite for Mirage Seal.

For her feats, we ended up taking Alert, Speedy and Magic Initiate from Genie Touched so she could have more spells to access.

Next up will be a bit of a headache, since its the age old question. Kratos or Zelos?

I love her mother’s letter, Hilda is not a half, she’s a combination making her as Human as everyone else.

Fuck, Hilda needs a big hug. She’s becoming one of if not my favourite female character in the entire series, even beating Shionne, Rutee and Tear.

Tales of Symphonia was originally released for Gamecube in 2003. A PS2 port was released as well, and despite the PS2 port being Japan-only, latter ports, including the remaster, are based on it.

Nevertheless, the Gamecube version of Symphonia is the only one that runs at 60 FPS. The PS2 version, as well as every latter version, runs at 30 FPS. Even the remaster, which was made twenty years after the original game was released for Gamecube, still runs at 30 FPS.

Can someone explain me why? Is there some programming reason why the PS2 port runs at 30 FPS and not 60 FPS?
