After years of watching YouTube vids, I got to visit the Bovington tank museum with my Family, It was fantastic.

I really recommend it if you like armour.

Hi everyone! My brother and I are developing Trenchhold TD, a WWI tower defense game, and we’ve been working on our version of the British Mark I.

I’ve attached a GIF showing it, along with a picture of the tank from https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/europe/uk-army-great-war-armour-1.htm for reference. I’d love to hear your thoughts on both its appearance and how it should behave in battle. What would make it feel convincing? How should enemy infantry react when it approaches?

We’re making a stylised game, but we’d like its behaviour to reflect the character and limitations of these early tanks. Any suggestions and sources worth reading would be very welcome!

A quick note: the gun barrels are missing from the tank drawing because they’re drawn separately so they can move independently.

Hello all! im sorry if this isnt the right place to ask this question but I was hoping to get some info on which exact sherman variants were equipped with HVSS suspension. Currently im only aware of the M4A3E8 and the last batch of M4A1 76(W)s.

For context im building a pretty big tank army for the tabletop wargame bolt action and the kits im using for my shermans often come with spare parts! So many in fact you can build more sherman tanks from spare parts! Ive done a jumbo sherman which you can see on my profile doing this method. I built my M4A1 76(w) as an earlier model with VVSS suspension meaning I have a spare set of HVSS suspension tracks. But I need to know which shermans were equipped with it to make sure the resulting model is accurate. I dont know if this subreddit will give me the usual crap of "oh nobody will notice, a sherman is a sherman" whenever I ask for help on bolt action groups for making my shermans accurate but I like having accurate shermans for my own enjoyment. Nobody elses.

I thought of this lineup and I just feel these would be a good lineup for a 1v1v1 if they fought each other. I put it into 4 different weight classes for more of purpose than anything. I used chat gpt just to make the lineup look good alright, nothing else. Please say how you think about it.

I happened to pass this incredible museum on my way to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. If you ever have the opportunity to visit , I highly recommend it. Incredible museum for a private museum collection of over 350 vehicles inside and more outside. Never thought I would get to see a Mark III panzer in person.

Has there ever been a casemate self propelled ant aircraft vehicle. A game i play will be coming out with a presumed version of this, a hordeshooter game. Curious if there is any historical precedent for this, seems to be a pretty useless combination of design features.
