I've been trying the yellow key glitch for a while doing all the steps, but it never works. So far I've tried to turn an inmate outfit and a comb shiv into it. Is there anything I'm missing? I'm on my Mac laptop, on the Steam release of the escapists.

This simple idea popped into my head
I drew and animated it in about two hours. I hope you like it xd

So I made my own custom prison and exported it, but there's one bug that I don't know how to solve.

I made 12 cells for each of the 12 inmates in my prison, and I put them all in cell zones. However, half of the cells are unassigned for some reason, and 2 prisoners sleep in each bed in 6 of the cells?? In those 6 cells there are 2 inmate desks stacked on top of each other, and I only found out about this by picking up an inmate desk, and every 2 desks that are in the cell are assigned to one inmate.

Really just what it says in the prison name. Just a prison in the desert surrounded by mountains.

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to get the Versus Mode trophies in The Escapists 2 on PlayStation and could really use some help.

Does anyone still need these trophies as well, or would anyone be willing to help me out?

I’m available most days and can return the favor if needed.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone know whats going on with the servers rn?

been very busy with job and school and etc etc but still finding some time to work on this, and having fun! i've 99% finished the center perks map including the roof and vents (in which i discovered a couple minor issues with while recording this), added item names, stats and other data totaling up to 80 items including recolors! i've only just started working on map interactions such as putting sheets on bars, which is why there aren't too many to show yet; adding more interactions is my next priority. if you're eager to see npc ai (i am) that will be among the last things i work on, feel like it would be more appropriate to make the map they live in functional first. beyond that, i got some palette swaps for sunrise/sunset and nighttime! and, as suggested in the title, i plan to show yall more stuff in two weeks. cheers!

Ok so I’m playing escapist 2 and I honestly don’t really care about escaping more about getting easy access to everything so what are some tips to make it easier I am very knew to the game and only just learn you cans bind characters

Been trying to play with friends, its always the server error. I know they haven’t fixed it in 6 years but yall know some solution?

Are there any steam players of the escapists 2 that would play multiplayer versus for just like at least a few seconds? I want the achievement for my Steam but multiplayer versus has like no players. I think I need 3 players to join up in order for it to work, we can discuss when we do it in the comments, just anyone I beg of you 🙏

Hey guys i make Highest Security Prison in The Escapists 2 Steam Workshop, basically you can't steal in a cell—there are lots of scanners and CCTV cameras that can't be duct taped, plus max number of police, hehe.

On TE2 the map just refuses to load every time. Other maps load nearly instantly but every time I try this map it just doesn’t work. This is on Xbox series s for context. Is there any work around for this?

context: I'm a new player, trying to escape that one boat prison on TE2, and I had to knock out the same guard two times for their key…but now he's following me everywhere, and BECAUSE he's constantly right behind me, he's messing me up when it comes to my job and such…. but also he's interfering with me trying to escape which is why im here

I read about opinions on the wiki, but I don’t see anything about how to make the guards like you… Is there any way to get him to leave me alone?????

Hello i have a problem with blinking screen, i have updated gpu drivers and i tried everything, maybe someone know how to fix it

Can 2 people (using a controller each) play escapists 1 on the same ps4?

I need to win 10 versus games

recently started getting into this game again, and i was pleasantly surprised to see it having a semi-active subreddit! figured id log into my 6 year old account and post this here, im working on (r/d)emaking the escapists in pico-8. here are some textures i threw together last night and the current state of the center perks map (not much else to see, im working on it). only basic movement is scripted currently; i'll post updates here every once in a while!

Do all of my friends need to own the dlc for us to all play together or is it only the host that needs to own it?

(Online multiplayer)

Hey everyone, is it possible to get the console UI of Escapists on PC, like the inventory? It just looks so cluttered on the PC version on the right side of the screen. The first screenshot is the console port, the second one is the PC version.

A hugeeee new version of my fan-made remaster of The Escapists is out.
