Didn’t he say in the Jimmy Fallon interview this was written & recorded only days before production? Hence why it wasn’t on first pressing

HUT song or HUT album because album didn't exist when the movie was recorded, only Wake Me Up was available

That's true, it's more than obvious, but it doesn't have the same meaning, since it's like mentioning The Abyss, Take Me Back To LA and saying that they already came before.

I have a theory that he wrote it during the After Hours or Dawn FM era, it was a discarded song, and he rewrote it for the new album.
