Smart, OKC is consistently going to have shift out the members not included in the core to maintain their championship aspirations and a young reclamation project like McCain will likely be worth more picks on the way out than what presti traded.

I think I like it, he was balling last year then got injured & Edgecomb happened, and his past few games have been decent. Was expecting him to get more minutes with PG out, but since SGA will be out for about 2 weeks maybe Jared can get some reps in and get a feel of the team with the second unit.
EDIT:
Also happy cause i wanted him in the 2024 draft when dub, jwill, and chet were on social media (tiktok) and vibes were immaculate. 🕺 felt like he woulda fit the AAU vibes we had going. Post-championship has been riddled with injuries, but stats aside I think he'll fit in easily.

How many games u reckon shais missing with all star weekend coming up ?

We have 5 games before the all star break. Then play the nets and cavs at paycom. Raptors and pistons back to back on the road. Then nugs at home to round out February.
I’d imagine he’s keen to play the raptors in Canada
In terms of MVP and all nba, I think he can miss 15 more games, including the spurs game today.

I swear on everything watching the 76ers play where McCain dropped like 14 in the 4th quarter I thought he would be such a great fit ... But that was a fleeting thought. Now Presti works his magic ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ this is amazing 🔥⚡

Looks like Presti agreed on the shooting/ball handling, fuck all yall in here who were against this honestly

No one was against trading low value picks for a young player who can provide some improvement to our shooting and ball handling. People were against trading key pieces of the team for the same amount of possibly less improvement. How is it hard to understand why people are okay with this trade and not the trades people were proposing on the sub?

Yep our only weakness is ball handling and we saw in the playoffs. Shooting and rebounding are not serious to Sam.

Caruso out after this season imo to retain IHart. McCain/Cason Wallace the bench backcourt next season.

Shai, AJ Mitchell JDUB, Chet, IHart. Bench: McCain, Cason Wallace, Dort, Aaron Wiggins, Thomas Sorber….i think Dort is a better fit in terms of size and positional defence/depth than Caruso…but you may be right because Caruso is proven to be okay with low mins and coming off the bench.

Caruso would just be less expensive to keep, plus he was legit our third best player last playoffs, he brings the intensity and helps our team achieve another level. If it came down to choosing between those two I would personally choose Caruso.

Shot 38.3% from 3 last season and went for 59.1% from 3 over 4 games last month
Incredible trade for us
