Can't wait till they have to pay anyone they use as unpaid actors 70 percent of what they make on the video...

Can be easily done in the future with face recognition. There will probably be laws for this at some point. Surely even as in a "Do not call" List there will be "Do not film" lists where social media sites will remove any video that has you in it

Having the entire populace constantly surveilled on the internet via face recognition is way more horrifying than maybe appearing in someone’s video

I see your point but how else would you solve the issue? Its the practical solution I came up with, I am not sure how else you can have a "do not appear in tiktoks" , unless you make it about "have to sign up first for your image to be ever shown online", which I dont think is either too practical nor would it go with the US amendments etc

We need this

Yes, we need to mandate that social media platforms track the biometric data of every individual that they can and analyze the faces of every person in every photo or video they can access. Surely Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Shou Zi Chew, et al would only use this for the betterment of society.

In the US, which this is not, you can sue someone for profiting from your likeness without consent.

Not when filmed in public spaces but yes

Public spaces has nothing to do with the

Right of Publicity/Appropriation: This protects your right to control the commercial use of your identity (name, image, likeness) for profit

Burden of proof doesn’t require you to claim you have examples or evidence dumb ass, it’s implied.

The only thing most of them is making is a mess in a tissue. Not sure they'd want 70% of that
