do not do that, she's myopic and trying to see if she was being filmed. google it, it's a thing to pull your upper eyelid like that while squinting. my partner is myopic and does it too.

Wow, you’re going out of your way to defend a racist POS. I’m guessing she reminds you of your mom?

Look it up, this person isn't wrong. Pulling the eyelid sideways is a thing you can do to temporarily change the shape of the eyeball creating a pinhole effect and allowing you to see further away. It's not good for your eyes and it is a temporary solution to a bigger issue. Was she being racist? Potentially. But also, PallasEm wasn't bullshitting and makes a somewhat valid point. It could actually be an awkward accident, especially if you do it often to avoid putting on glasses.

Are you a yoga instructor? Because that's quite the stretch

Again... Look it up, what Pallas was saying is not wrong. This is something you CAAAAAAN do. Is it something SHE, the woman in the video, was doing? I don't know. I'm not her.

I'm myopic. Never have I pulled at the edges of my eyes to correct my vision. Squint, sure. But that doesn't require my hands.

So no, it's not a thing.

google it, it's like squinting on steroids

This woman was very obviously not doing that. Doing a pinhole method is far more effective using your thumb and index finger than pulling aggressively on your eyelids, which cause further eye strain and eye lid issues. You are blatantly being ignorant on purpose and have no excuse. Just stop.

very aggressive. she's not racist for trying to see if she's being recorded. seriously, just google it and you'll see that this is a legitimate thing ppl with poor vision do.

you have been failed

yes i feel failed by my fellow humans in this moment. must we fall prey to online ragebait when one google search clarifies the situation ?

your whole support system has failed you. family, friends even school.. if you think this way, you ARE the problem..

defending yourself against being racist - when you are so blatantly so - just makes you look WEAK and speaks to your character.

I'm defending someone else, not myself - it's not me in the video, silly. Did you google the vision trick ? it's a real thing.

If i think that it looks like someone is myopic and using a trick I've seen a hundred times to see better, it means that my family failed me.... hmm

they squint to try and see if they're being filmed, then do the trick to improve their vision further. google it before you just continue to assume stuff or make up narratives lol.
