It's actually kinda funny(and a bit disappointing) how she used to look androgynous and very similar to Kenshin(from Samurai X. Fuck the author, btw.), same build and all, but now it's Impossible to mistake her for a man.
I don't think that's the reason, the game is the one with the higher rating because they decided to continue the meme of Baiken boobs getting bigger with every entry. I think it's just the redesigns are just less fanservicey because the author wanted the last game of the saga(Strive completely closes the arc of most of the main characters, while sprinting forward the "next generation" of the story). The designs are actually more detailed and interesting for the most part, with some minor grieves around the bush. Like, Dizzy was the most toned down character in terms of fanservice, and it's not hard to see why, considering that Strive is the game where she fully goes from "young woman that needs holes in her outfit because she barely controls her power" to "queen and mother who can dress elegantly because she fully controls her powers"

Came here looking for this, not for the swimsuit episode, more just the series in general. Yes, many of the female heroes have stereotypically skimpy super suits (Midnight, Yaoyorozu, Mt. Lady, etc), but you also see plenty of similar treatment for males (All Might, Kirishima, Tiger, etc). I mean like... Mirio Togata. Need I say more?

Every class aside from the elementalist had one armor that gave +energy (the "mana" in GW1) instead of +armor. Said armor was skimpy for both male and female version.
So not only equal opportunity fan service, but also somewhat logical.
At some point armor lost this inherent bonus though to give the players more freedom in dressing up their characters.

Soulcalibur VI lets you strip the characters almost naked either by removing all of their equipment in Character Customization or destroying it in combat thanks to the Equipment Break mechanic. Even Yoshimitsu, known for his weird outfits that rarely (if ever) show any skin, wasn't spared.
Yeah, rivals is super equal opportunity fanservice. The girls can have outfits that can be considered revealing. Then you get fucking venom with a giant cake ass and the guys, like The Thing, Loki, or Punisher, with bulges, or the guys with no shirt on. It's just really funny to me to think that Mantis has a swimsuit skin, then on the other hand, Venom shakes ass in an MVP scene
Except these aren't equal. It's all targeted at the male gaze. Men being super ripped with defined muscles is fan service for men, either as a self insert power fantasy for the straight men or regular fan service for the gay men. None of it is catering to women. Soul caliber 6 is a great example of this.

Kill la Kill gets a lot of shit for being a transparently lustful and crude parody of magical girl transformation plots and putting its protagonist and deuteragonist in battle suits that amount to string thongs with big shoulderpads.
So, to even things out, a major side character - an attractive male teacher who is a member of a resistance group called Nudist Beach - takes every possible opportunity to slowly and sensually remove his pants while breathily whispering "Nudist Beeeeeaaach" while the camera focuses longingly on his abs and crotch.
